What do bars and drinks mean?
Simply put, beverages are any liquid that may be consumed, including tea, milk, coffee, juices, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and even water. Hotels, restaurants, pubs, and any juice store serve these products. The aforementioned beverages must be served and traded under the authority of an FSSAI licence or certificate.
Hard drinks including beer, whisky, rum, vodka, etc. are served in bars. The food safety guidelines established by India’s food safety administration must be followed by bars and other beverage providers. A FSSAI licence or certificate is required to operate a bar. Bars should have registered with the state’s or the federal government’s licencing agency.
